Earlier this week, Nana B as he’s popularly had said students in Senior High Schools who have tested positive for COVID-19 brought the virus from home and didn’t get infected in schools.
However, Dr Kwame Sarpong Asiedu said the comment is rather unfortunate and want the NPP stalwart to be brought to order.
“Can someone stop Nana B from talking on COVID-19? To say “SHS students with COVID-19 brought the virus from home” is ignorant and displays a lack of understanding of public health assortative and disassortative pathogen spread. We are in a phase of this pandemic where talk that ignores the science is extremely unhelpful,” he noted in a social media post.
