Kevin Taylor questioned why Otumfour asked journalists to be cautious about their limitations. He intimated that the King should not have made such a statement against the media landscape because the government aims at controlling the media as well.

Kevin Taylor also said Otumfour should be willing to speak up on issues facing the country under the regime of H.E Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo r ather than rallying behind them irrespective of their ill-governance.

Speaking at an event in Kumasi, Kevin Taylor advised the Ashanti King to focus more on his kingship and development within his territory rather than getting involved in politics.
