An exclusive report available to www.Ghgossip.com indicates that students drawn from University of Health & Allied Science, Ho Technical University & Nursing Training College in the Volta Region of Ghana who were used as ushers and in other protocol capacities during the 2019 Famers’ Day ceremony have still not been paid their allowance promised them before they were recruited.
One of the affected students who spoke on condition of anonymity to Ghgossip.com
All the students, numbering about 50 were added to the group so further development about their allowance will be communicated to them but it seems it was only a charade as the recruiters who are said to be affiliated to the incumbent government have failed to pay them, saying through the group chat that the money from the ‘top’ have still not been released so the students should calm down.
When the demand of the students became incessant, the group administrators have muted the chat in such a way that the aggrieved students can no longer ask questions about the money.
The two ladies who recruited the students identified only as Sandra and Josephine (one of them is known in the group as First Lady) have however maintained that the money has not been released so they should exercise patience, but the students think they have been shortchanged by the aforementioned people and are consequently demanding for ‘justice.’
