According to reports, the Supreme Court of Ghana has denied claims that, they have issued an arrest warrant to arrest CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah.

This comes after a warrant went viral on Wednesday, 8 January, 2019, which suggested that there has been an issued warrant for Nana Appiah Mensah’s arrest.

A source at the Supreme Court Registry told Graphic Online that the apex court of the land had not issued any such warrant.

“There is no writ involving Menzgold before the Court, neither has any issue concerning Menzgold been referred to the Court from another court,” he said, indicating that other courts may have issued the warrants but it certainly was not the Supreme Court.

As it stands, it has been revealed that the warrant to arrest form which went viral could be fake, as we can see from the warrant form that, it possess a circuit court stamp but the sheet is that of the Supreme Court.
