Reports reaching Ghgossip.com confirms that, the prime suspect of Legon University Lecturer Prof. Benneh is dead.
According to Police report, the lead suspect, James Nana Womba has been sick for some time now.
The Police says he was admitted at a hospital intensive care unit where they put oxygen on him. However, upon trying hard to safe his life, James Nana Womba gave up the ghots on Sunday, 18 October, 2020.
James Nana Womba has earlier confessed to taking part in the murder and killing of the late Profressor Mr. Benneh.
The attack happened in the l ate’s house at East Legon; Accra.
The police on the arrest of James Womba, discharged three house helps of who were workers of the late Professor Benneh. The police said they were the first to contact prime suspects at the time.

However, the police also arrested one of his accomplices, Opambour Agya Badu who is also charged with same murder, and says they are also investigation into the matter to arrest another three accomplices of Mr. Benneh’s death.
