Kwaw Kesse has joined the train of artiste lambasting colleague artistes who are fighting for the ownership of the Azonto genre which Sarkodie is determined to bring it back into the system.
The #BringBackAzonto agenda being championed by Sarkodie is facing many difficulties. A case study is Gasmilla who is claiming that the genre never died and he is the King and origina tor of the genre.
Ace rapper, Stay Jay, the “Shashee wowo” hitmaker has been seen on other media platforms claiming to be the originator of the genre. This and many more are the issues surrounding the revival of the once sweet genre.
Renowned rapper, Kwaw Kesse, a.k.a Abodam who seemes to be infuriated by the controversies surrounding the genre has slammed artistes claiming to be originators. He said that the agenda should be Ghana music and not a dead genre.
