The sudden demise of the late Hollywood actress Cicely Tyson hit the world by surprise as fans around the world are still mourning the legend. Her family has released a statement slating February 15 as the day the actress will be laid-in-state.

Cicely Tyson passed away last Thursday after having a very successful 70 years career in Hollywood as one of the few Black women who brought change to the movie industry.
The family revealed the legend will be laid-in-state in New York at the historic Abyssinian Baptist Church, which is also the church where she worshiped for fans to bid their final farewell from 10 a.m to 6 p.m before been moved to the cemetery.
Fans who will be attending the ceremony should be ready to go in accordance of the COVID-19 protocols and measures put in place.
