A fan of Shatta Wale has taken to social media to lament over how the Ghana media landscape has refused to support the Dancehall King yet complain about him not having hit songs making waves on the internet.

On many ocassions, Shatta Wale has been lamenting on how the media has refused to support his craft but are quick to promote negative news about him. Although he has admitted to be very controversial, Shatta Wale is of the view that the media rather channel their energies to promote negativity about him.
It is at the back of this that a fan has stated that the required support needed from the media to promote Shatta Wale’s craft has been low yet they have the guts to call him out when he is not making hit songs.
Meanwhile, the media would rather shower praises on outsiders and support them instead of their own.
Taking to the bird app, the fan wrote;
#GOGALBUM No media is supporting the movement but they will take their phone to call and ask why 1DON is not getting hits songs meanwhile they are not supporting but rather hailing the outsiders #GOGALBUM
