Ghanaian actress and activist Lydia Forson has expressed her disappointment in the people who agreed with her 6 years ago when she wrote an article to the then President John Dramani Mahama about the ‘dumsor’ crisis but are now responding to the people’s protest with their own hashtag.

Recall Ms Lydia Forson received a lot of applauds especially from the supporters of the NPP in 2015 after she wrote a very emotional but yet lovely message to the then president John Dramani Mahama about the dumsor crisis the nation was facing at that time.

As she was receiving applauds from the side of the NPP who were in opposition then, the NDC supporters who were in power at that time were also bashing her for the constant criticism of the John Mahama led administration.

In the twist of event, Lydia Forson has expressed her disappointment in the people who supported her 6 years ago when she wrote that article to John Mahama but are now responding to the #FixTheCountry protest with their own #FixYourSelf hashtag.

It’s been 6 years since #dumsormuststop And 6 years since I wrote this article about then President Mahama. The people who agreed with me then are now saying #FixYourSelf in response to #FixTheCountry

The #FixYourSelf hashtag is seen as a protest against the people who are using the #FixTheCountry to channel their grievances to the government of its inability to govern the country to the way it promised Ghanaians.
