A female police personnel whose leaked ‘atopa’ video went viral has finally spoken claiming that she recorded the video for her boyfriend who is abroad whiles showing regrets for her actions.
She noted how regretful she was adding that she is yet to come to terms with the reality that a video that was meant for two persons found its way into the public domain accusing a third party of trying to use it in blackmailing her.
She revealed that, after recording the video she wanted to send it to her boyfriend in Italy but she was finding some challenges in sending it through WhatsApp and sought the assistance of a friend.
The friend then sent a copy to himself which he later tried using to blackmail her and when she could not raise the stated amount, he released it to close friends who in turn showed it to others before it went viral.
“I am very sorry for my conduct but this is what really happened. I am pulling myself to together and have learnt a lot of lessons. I do not even think I will want to own a phone with a camera”, she revealed.
