One of the biggest dreams of every musician is to have his or her song still playing and enjoyed by fans even when they are retired from the scene. Some musicians are no longer in the music scene but have their songs still playing at almost every event.

We can boldly make mention of the likes of Daddy Lumba. Amakye Dede, Nana Acheampong, the late Nana Kwame Ampadu, Pat Thomas, A.B Crentsil, Samini among others who will still have their songs being played and enjoyed after they are no longer spotted in the music scene.

Daddy Lumba for instance who is known as one of the best vocalists in the history of Ghanaian music has his songs still dominating the scenes and being sampled by some of the new crops of musicians.

Well, there are so many musicians whose songs have not been played ever since they vacated the scene. Some have been forgotten and others have even stopped making music because they feel their craft has not been appreciated enough.

It is probably at the back of this that Gyakie, one of the most talented singers in the scene is saying that there are some songs one might never hear again in a few years to come. Ths songstress might be probably be lamenting about the fact that some of her songs which are dominating the scene might never be heard of in some years to come.
