Mrs. Victoria Agbotui was born on September 9, 1914 in Dzelukpe; Keta in Ghana.
She married a Scottish man, called James Ramsey John.
Mr. Victoria Agbotui is the biological mother of Ghana’s former President Jerry John Rawlings.

It is officially reported that former President of the Republic of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings is her only child, and she gave birth to him on June 22 1947.
Zanetor Agyemag-Rawlings, Kimathi Rawlings, Amina Rawlings, Yaa Asantewaa Rwlings, and Zanetor Rawlings are her 5 grandchildren.
Although Victorai Agbotui son Jerry John Rawlings has been an active politician, but she always tried not to come into the political camera.
Nevertheless, like every good mother will do for her child, she supported her Son JJ Rawlings and once served as one-time head of the catering department at the presidency during Rawlings’ era
Mr. Jerry John Rwalings celebrated her mothe’rs 101th birthday this month, on Wednesday 9 September, 2020 with her. She spent a total of 101 earthly years before passing on to her eternal habitation.
She died in September 2020.

Although, Madam Victoria Agbotui is no more with us, but will always be in the heart of Ghanaians for blessing the nation with a son who led the country more than 18 good years.
