Nigerian author, Reno Omokri has advised his followers to think generationally.

He made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

The post he made reads;

“Think generationally. Stop renting houses and buying new cars. That is the wealth of fools. Better to rent cars and buy houses and shares. Buy things that appreciate. Except you absolutely need them, avoid things that depreciate. They are like ice on a hot day!”

His followers also shared their thoughts about the post and some of the comments read;

@amandaergoyoga – It’s a good advice only when there’s proper structure to meet the needs of the people who can buy houses through mortgage.Reality here is people need to survive & we can’t live on the streets. Even in Europe people rent houses. Country needs fixing.

@MaziDoncyon1 – Nice one sir but this statement is not part of it “stop renting houses” Everyone doesn’t have the capacity to buy a house so therefore they may choose to rent a comfortable one, hence the person can afford it then it’s nice, money to buy or build house will come.

@HadeymolarS – Millions of youths can’t afford daily bread, shelter, you talking of buying houses and shares.. Nigeria can’t last up to 2030
