Veteran Nollywood actor and movie producer Chiwetalu Agu has finally spoken after he was manhandled and arrested by the Nigerian Army.
The actor has defended himself amidst the interrogations and questions that were thrown at him by the military personnel. The actor was seen seated on the ground trying to defend himself for wearing the outfit.

It would be recalled that in the late hours of Thursday 7th October, series of videos popped up on the internet where the Nigerian army was manhandling the actor and also brutalizing him in the middle of the streets because he was wearing an outfit designed with the Biafran flag.
According to reports, the actor was dragged out of his car by the soldiers which had the inscription “Chinwetalu Films”.The car was then searched by the security operatives before he was manhandled by the soldiers who fired some shots to scare off the crowd which gathered.
In a recent development, the 65-year old actor was spotted in a video seated on the ground trying to defend himself why he wore the outfit. He was heard saying that the dress is a civil dress and doesn’t represent Biafran or Eastern Security Network (ESN).
