Socialite, Rosemond Alade Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo has finally spoken publicly after she was sentenced to 90 days in prison.

The actress will be serving a jail term of 90 days after pleading guilty to all the three charges leveled against her at the Accra Circuit court.
In a video sighted by ghgossip.com, Akuapem Poloo expressed her gratitude to her fans and colleagues celebrities for the support they showed her during her time of need.
She mentioned a few like Sarkodie, Hajia4Real, Akuma Mama Zimbi, DKB, and others who pushed the trended hashtag #FreeAkuapemPoloo for her to be pardoned.
Akuapem Poloo said that she believes this is a test and she will pass through it. She said that sometimes in life, one must pass through trials and tribulations to be strong and to her, this looks like the right chance for her to be even stronger than before.
Admitting that she is very stubborn, Akuapem Poloo expressed her love to all who participated in the call for her release.

Akuapem Poloo faced three charges at the Accra Circuit Court which she pleaded guilty to all of them. She was charged with the publication of obscene materials after she shared a naked photo with her son on his birthday on 30th June 2020. She was also charged with undermining the integrity of her son and also detracting his dignity.
However, Ghanaians on social media have also shared their thoughts on the sentence as many believe that she will learn her lesson afterward.
