Ghanaian Politician, John Dumelo has said that it is deception for the government to tax Ghanaians for the free utilities they enjoyed during the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

Recall, during the early outbreak of the virus, the government made Ghanaians enjoy some freebies which include free water and electricity to cushion them as we combat the pandemic.
Well, the government is now asking Ghanaians to pay back those freebies in the COVID-19 recovery plan.
This was revealed through the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that the government will be introducing new taxes to help the country recover from the loss encountered during the outbreak of the virus.
This according to John Dumelo is deceit. He termed this as deception on the part of the government to make Ghanaians enjoy freebies and later ask them to pay for them.
