Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has disclosed his reason for choosing American hip-hop icon, Jay-Z as his role model.

In a post he made on Facebook, Shatta Wale stated that Jay-Z does not look good for people to admire but he makes his bank account look good for everyone to admire him.
He said that when it comes to making a business out of his craft(music), one of the people he looks up to is Jay-Z.
Jay-Z who has an “unpleasant” look yet he is identified as one of the most successful musicians in the world has been admired by many people across the world.
Not only his music but his way of thinking and business mindset got Shatta Wale admiring him while shading musicians who only look good on the outside but lack the sense to invest and make profitable gains from their music.
