Being ugly can have a serious psychological and social impact on you but not this Zimbabwean man who just earned the title, ‘Mr. Ugly’ for the forth time.
Yes, Mr William Masvinu won a cool $500 cash and a cow for being officially declared as the ugliest person in Zimbabwe-and he he has won this competition four times since its inception six years ago!
The second winner got $200 and the third $100. The only time William couldn’t win this satirical competition was last last year’s competition. but he’s back to being the ugly man he’s accepted that he is and walked away with $500 cash and a cow for winning the title. An excited William Masvinu said:
No one can dispute that I am the ugliest person in Zimbabwe, It was a tight competition since all the contestants were potential winners.
Last time, complacency cost me a lot but this time I came well prepared for the contest and I am happy I have reclaimed my trophy. I am proud of my ugliness as I was born ugly.
I now want to take my ugliness outside the country. If there is Mr. Ugly World, I am confident I will bring the crown to Zimbabwe.
Musekiwa who came second promised to work hard next year win the crown from Masvinu.
“I will be working hard on my looks and the way I present myself, come next year I am going to take over the crown,” he said.
