A man in India has stunned the internet community when it emerged that he has not cut his hair or washed for over three decades. His name is Sakal Dev Tuddu and from interview he granted to local media, he started this weird lifestyle when he turned 23-years.
The 63-year old man, instead being seen as repulsive is rather revered and it’s believed he has healing powers for which reason people troop to his abode to get a dose of it to treat different ailments.
For some reason, he didn’t cut his hair for a whole year, and when he woke up one day he noticed his locks had become tangled into a ‘jatta’ (dreadlock).
He considered it a blessing from the Hindu god Shiva, so from that day on he never cut or washed his hair again. Today, his impressive jatta measures around 6 feet and reaches all the way to the ground and trails behind him.
To keep his hair from becoming even dirtier, Sakal keeps it wrapped in a white cloth on top of his head whenever he goes out.
