It is said that some thugs loyal to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reportedly hijacked the electoral materials at the polling station at Tipper Garage, Egor assaulting the APC chairman’s wife in the process.

According to reports,she tried to resist the attackers which led to her being assaulted by the thugs.
She is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital due to the seriousness of her injuries.
