Peter Okoye (Rudeboy), brother to Paul Okoye and former member of the de-funct music group, P-square, has made some shocking revelations on local records deals and foreign record deals.

Speaking on a radio station in Uganda, the singer revealed that he would choose local record deals instead of foreign records. This raised some eyebrows since international records pushes an artist to the top quickly but Peter has debunked that claim. Peter claimed African artiste are quick to sign for foreign records after reading the pros but forget the cons side of it all.

He said the record deal looks juicy in the beginning but months later, you’ll understand it’s not what you saw on paper then you wish you never signed.

“Until u get into there, you will not understand what it is all about,” “You will discover you are better off being the way you were (before being signed into one)”

When asked about his opinion on Tiwa’s signing onto American based Universal Music Group, Peter said:

“Don’t worry she will understand better.”
