Popular OAP, Toke Makinwa in a recent social media post has lambasted people ridiculing the people paying tribute to the late NBA star, Kobe Bryant who died in a recent helicopter crash.
In her post on Twitter, Toke Makinwa quizzed these critics to think about their life, work, message to the world and hope that when they depart the world will feel the vacuum they leave behind.
Her post reads;
“Before you criticize people for mourning a legend they haven’t met or paying their respect to Kobe, before you comment foolishly, think about your life, your work, your message to the world and hope that when it’s your turn to go the world will feel your departure.”
“Let the legendary Kobe Bryant who is mourned worldwide not make you question why or accuse anyone of clout chasing, his life, his message, his work ethic, the way he died is enough to move anyone even if you didn’t know him personally.”
