Uwavera Omozuwa was raped and murdered by unknown assassins in a church near their house. Reports came in that Uwavera went to the church premises in Benin City to study when she was attacked, raped, and killed.
The hashtag #JusticeForUwa has been trending on social media demanding for justice for the murdered girl.
