Stonebwoy has another bragging right over his bitterest rival Shatta Wale following the release of the list of the most listened to artistes in 2018 by Boomplay.
Following closely on the heels of the Bhim Nation boss is Shatta Wale, King Promise and Kuame Eugene in that order. Sarkodie and a couple of A-list stars who had a good year in 2018 rounded up to the top ten.
Boomplay recently released some statistics which reveals interesting trends and facts on the user listening habits and general music listening culture in Ghana.
In 2018, Ghanaian fans streamed music over a billion times on Boomplay; an increase from previous years. There was also a total of 119 thousand User Generated playlists.
Boomplay is a free digital content (Music & Video) application that allows music lovers to access a huge catalogue of music and videos from African and International artists. The contents are available for streaming and download.
The Boomplay application is pre-installed on all TECNO smart devices that were launched after March 2015 and it is also available on Google play store.
