Kwame A-Plus, the former Ghanaian musician who is now seeking the comfort of life in politics and social media commentary, has hailed Shatta Wale as the Messiah of Ghana music.

It’s no secret that A-Plus has been a long term admirer of the controversial musician. He recently labeled the Gringo hitmaker as the biggest musician in Ghana on the back of the mammoth crowd he pulled at the maiden edition of his Thanksgiving Service

on December 28 last year.

To reinforce his admiration and the important echelon Shatta Wale occupies in Ghanaian music sphere, A-Plus argued that
Shatta Wale fought for the industry by insisting that event organizers in the country should stop giving preferential treatment to foreigners, especially Nigerian artiste at their expense.

A-Plus carefully outlined just three specific areas Shatta Wale has improved the ‘professional’ condition of all musicians in Ghana and therefore wants him to be commended.

He wrote;

Every musician in Ghana today is enjoying the fruit of Shatta Wale’s struggle. He fought for respect for the Ghanaian musician.

1. Don’t bring Nigerians here and treat them special but treat your own people like trash.

2. Don’t pay Nigerians better than Ghanaians.

3. Don’t just use musicians to promote your event when you have not contacted and signed contract with them.

Most of the event organizers either own or work for some of the big media outlets and therefore decided to bring the guy down. Unfortunate some of the people fell for this and some musicians who are benefiting today fight him.

Anyway, Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown. Jesus was killed…. as for me I like everything Ghana. I love Ghanaians music.

I love Sark, I love Stone, I love the new guys Kwame Eugene, Kidi and King Promise but Shatta was is the messiah!!!
