2Face Idibia was the third Nigerian musician to be nominated at the BET Awards after his colleague Nigerian musicians M.I and P-Square refused to bag the award home in the year 2010 but 2Baba did just to it with his first nomination in the year 2011 by co-winning the award with D’banj. The year 2013 was a blessing to his career as he was again given another nomination but lost it to Ice Prince. In all 2Baba has 2 BET nominations to his credit and 1 BET Award in his plaque room.
