Following the exit of Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid after plying his trade for Europe’s most successful club, the top greatest players to have played for the Spanish giant have been ranked.
Meanwhile, the Spanish defender confirmed the news of his exit in an emotional press conference on Thursday.
“The moment has arrived, one of the most difficult moments in my life, to say goodbye to Real Madrid,” said Ramos, per Sport.
“Thanks to Madrid, who will always be in my heart. An era ends but it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later, because sooner or later I will be back,” he concluded tearfully.
Ramos played 671 times for the club, scoring 101 times and helping them to 22 trophies.
