Tory Lanez has pleaded not guilty to the charges of shooting rapper girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion, According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in a statement on Twitter.

The rapper was recently arrested as a suspect in the shooting of his former girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion. The 28-year-old rapper was summoned in court on Wednesday where he pleaded not guilty to the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion on July 12 at Hollywood hills CNN reports. The rapper was charged in October with various felony counts which include assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, according to the District Attorney’s office. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion also recently came out to say that her boyfriend tried to buy her silence as she was still recuperating.
