A tactical masterclass by Jose Mourinho saw him get the better of rival Pep Guardiola as Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.

The victory takes Tottenham to top of the table. At the end of the day, Tottenham did what matters – score goals unlike, Man City who saw lots of the ball but couldn’t convert their chances.

The goals came in each half. Son got on the end of a fine pass and slotted the ball through the legs of goalkeeper Ederson into the net. 

Argentine Lo Celso scored with his first touch after coming off the bench in the second half. He finished off a counter attack led by Harry Kane. 

Tottenham are top with their next game away at second-placed Chelsea. Meanwhile, City have to improve if they want to challenge for the title.
