HRM Aarom Ikuru, the Traditional ruler of Ikuru town in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State has been abducted by suspected kidnappers.
Confirming the incident, Mr Maurice Ikuru, the spokesperson of the palace said that he was abducted around 8:30pm on Sunday, February 21.

Nnamdi Omoni, the spokesperson of the State Police Command revealed that the monarch was not the only victim of the abduction, some boat travellers, as well as a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, were included.
He said;
“I can confirm that some persons who were coming back from Andoni were ambushed and kidnapped. Investigation is on-going to get the details,”
