Ghana opened its AFCON campaign against minnows Benin and what a game it turned out to be after the Black Stars came from a goal down to lead 2-1 in the first half only for a John Boye red card in the 55 minutes of the second hal to reduced the numerical cal advantage of the stars to make way for Benin to peg them back in a 2-2 draw.
A lot of things happened in that game which saw Ghana making setting some records in the annals of the competition and Ghana football in general. Few hours from now, the team will try to make amends and redeem their image in the eyes of their legions of fans back in Ghana as they take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in their second group game.
