There is now a social media celebration going on for two Nigerian women who have been friends for 80 years. One of turned 90 years old, the other will turn 90 in December.
On social media, a video of them in similar outfits rejoicing has gone viral.
”When you see friends for eighty years, different religion, different tribe..that tells you that there is hope in Nigeria. This is an example of what one Nigeria is. Best of friends for eighty good years”

He explained that the celebrant on the right is from Maiduguri, while the other is Igbo in origin.
