Barely 24-hours after the explosive BBC documentary which exposed the immoral activities of lecturers towards their female students, the authorities of the University of Ghana have cleared the two lecturers implicated in the scandal, saying they did no wrong.

Dubbed ‘sekz for Grades’, the explosive undercover documentary which was premiered yesterday, Monday, October 7 focuses on university lecturers who sekzually harass students for favours.

However in a sudden twist of event, Chairperson of the anti-sekzual harassment committee of the University of Ghana (UG), Dr. Margaret Amoakohene has refuted allegations made against some lecturers of the institution cited in the BBC Africa Eye documentary, saying that there is no evidence that shows that they slept with the students to give them better grades.

This is in stark contrast to what happened in Nigeria where the Nigerian lecturer of the University of Lagos, Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu who also doubles as a pastor was kicked out of the church for compromising his position to solicit for sekz from students.
