A statement released on Friday, Febuary 14, reveals that Egypt has recorded it first coronavirus case. This makes them the first African country to contract the deadly virus.
According to Naijapals.com, the Egyptian authorities have notified the World Health Organization about the patient whose identity is yet to be revealed. Currently the patient is kept in isolation for close evaluation and treatment.

Egypt is believed to be the 28th country in the World to record a case of the killer virus and it is the first in Africa, since the outbreak of the killer virus from Wuhan in China.
