US Hip-Hop icon, Chance The Rapper has finally touched down on Ghana soil barely a week after crying out on social media expressing his interest in visiting the gateway to Africa.
You would recall that a few says ago, Chance The Rapper born Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, lamented that he wished to have been in the capital of Ghana, Accra for this Xmas season.
This was perhaps due to the tons of variety of events lined up for the Christmas season from December 20th to the first week of January after as the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and culture through the National Tourism Authority dubbed this year’s Xmas celebrations as ‘December in Ghana’.
Shatta Wale, Medikal, Sarkodie, Samini, Kofi Kinaata, King Promise, Okyeame Kwame, and other top-tier musicians in Ghana headlined their own shows in this festive season with other event organizers putting together fun shows headlined by numerous musicians.
Chance The Rapper in a tweet regretted never spending his Christmas in Ghana . However, Sarkodie reacted to his tweet, telling him it is never too late to come to Accra and still have quality time.
However, as it is said, better late than never as Chance The Rapper still believes there is some fun in stored for him when he comes to Ghana and he did that in the new year as he has finally arrive in Ghana to chill and taste Ghana perhaps for the first time.
