The infamous Atomic gas explosion will not be forgotten in a hurry. Report reaching us indicate that an up and coming Ghanaian female musician Queen Haizel has lost her mum, to the disaster.
Speaking to renowned blogger Zionfelix, the musician revealed that a car knocked the mother and three other people on a pavement at Madina Zongo junction when they were running to save their lives during the disaster.
According to her the three others died instantly but her mother was pronounced dead after she was rushed to the hospital.
She said:
“She was my last hope”. When asked about the whereabouts of her dad, she replied that he is battling illness.
May her soul, together with the other victims, rest in peace!
