One of the hottest debate in the Ghanaian media and on social media is the open debate of the LGBTQI and how the media, celebrities and the government of Ghana is treating the whole issue.

One thing that has caught many people’s attention is how celebrities like Sister Deborah, Nana Aba Anamoah and Wanlove Kuborlo are supporting the group’s idea and slamming people who do not support the campaign on social media.

Just this morning, The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ordered the closure of the newly established LBGTQI office in Accra which was recently opened by the Australian ambassador to Ghana.

As the topic has now become an open argument of Twitter, a user and probably a fan of Ghana’s rapper Sarkodie sharing his thoughts stated very soon the rapper will be blamed by Ghanaians for not coming out to condemn the group as the ‘Bibi Ba’ hit maker has been quiet since.
