The debate about who reigns supreme in Ghana’s dancehall fraternity continues unabated. One of Ghana’s pioneers of the genre, Abrewa Nana has added her voice to the debate.

When quizzed about the two in terms of supremacy, the former West Africa idol judge said, “I will pick Shatta Wale, he is vibrant, energetic, outspoken and creates his own beats.” She told Chaskele. “I like his personality. I was not surprised Stonebwoy was picked ahead of Shatta Wale because he is also a very good artist who has a big fan base.

I don;t know what the the Shatta fans will say about that but board members decided and they had a reason and I am okay with it. He is Ghanaian and he will raise the flag high.”
