After the incident that happened between Dancehall acts, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, both have been banned by the Organisers- Charterho use and asked to return the plaques.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Stonebwoy said,
“VGMAS ban is supposed to affect us like Obour said. Obour said the ban would affect us but I don’t even remember i’ve even been banned by Charterhouse. I’m still moving and going higher same as Shatta Wale. Look at my relevance now, i don’t feel the VGMAS ban at all. I give huge thanks to our respective fans”
On whether he would return the VGMAS plaques as ordered by Charterhouse, Stonebwoy said,
“It will be pure disrespect to return the plaques to CharterHouse. I did not steal the awards, my fans voted, i won’t return them.”
He continued,
“What happened at the VGMAS is a turning point within our Entertainment sector; security breaches here and there. Charterhouse made it seemed like they were 100% right and pushed all the blame on Shatta Wale and I”
