The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music awards is going down live this evening at the Accra International Conference Centre and from all indications, we are going to have BLAST.

There’s a scramble amongst most of the top artistes about why they deserve to win their categories. Their fans and pundits have equally locked horns along the same tangent and it’s very interesting to see how this turns out eventually when the curtains rolls up to begin the ceremony.

We at www.Ghgossip.com have compiled our list on who we think we’ll win each category. Let us take a look at possible winners in their identified categories.

Hiplife Song of the Year: Medikal – Ayekoo feat King Promise Sarkodie – Can’t Let You Go feat King Promise Quamina MP – Wiase Ye De Remix feat Kwesi Arthur & Yung C. It almost hard to choose between Medikal’s Ayekoo and Sarkodie and King Promise’s Can’t Let You Go. We have jammed to all of it and honestly we are as confused. Our dial is on Ayekoothough…

As for this category, we cannot even decide on any because almost all of them did their best for it. Shatta Wale’s Reign Album was

the most talked about Album during and after its launch. Samini’s Untamed Album did not receive any less of the hype. Social Media activities have led us to believe that people are all in for Diana Hamilton too and Akwaboah is loved as well although we cannot say we have heard lots of people talking about him. Our bet is on Shatta Wale’s Reign Album.

Highlife Song of the Year: Dada Hafco – Yebewu Nti KiDi – Thunder Shatta Wale – My Level Kumi Guitar – Betweener Kwesi Arthur – Woara King Promise – CCTV feat Sarkodie & Mugeez Adina – Killing Me Softly— we are definitely going for King Promise’s CCTV

Gospel Song of the Year Joyce Blessing – I Swerve You KODA – Hosanna I.K Aning – Bobolebobo Joe Mettle – My Everything Obaapa Christy – W’asua Me Bethel Revival Choir – Agba Dza Diana Hamilton – Mo Ne Yo— the very song that has been on the lips of many is Diana Hamilton’s Mo Ne Yo. She is sweeping it home.

Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year Maccasio – Dagomba Girl feat Mugeez Shatta Wale – Gringo Stonebwoy – Top Skanka Samini – Obaa — Stonebwoy’s Top Skanka is taking this slot
