A video has been sighted on social media that captures the moment a fake medicine seller was grabbed by some Ghanaians by the roadside after selling “Alata” soap as a cure for pimples and other skin diseases.

In the video, the young man who claims to be Beninese said that he came into the country not long ago and has been selling the medicine for quite some time now.

Upon interrogation, the three men who caught him in the act of selling the “soap” to someone else as medicine handcuffed the young man and asked him to confess else they send him to the police station for him to be put beh ind bars.

According to one of the men who apprehended the man, the influx of fake remedies in the system has been rampant and as such, they need to be regulated and dealt with according to the law.
