After Shatta Wale’s feature with Beyonce on the Lion King Album went viral,
Sarkodie tweeted;
“Welcome home Queen @Beyonce officially ???????????? Big shouts @shattawalegh ????????????????????????????????!!! And all our brothers and sisters on there … Big One for the culture”
Shatta Wale was not too happy with that tweet from Sarkodie. According to Shatta Wale, Sarkodie hasn’t met Beyonce before to even welcome her home as if they are buddies .
On Zylofon FM, he said
“Just read through the tweet he sent out, welcome home queen bla bla. Has Sarkodie even met Beyonce before doing himself like they are buddies? Sarkodie is too-known, he’s always trying to pose big boy-big boy. Big Collaborations like this, is not about your big boy pose or how you speak”.
Well, Nigerian rapper Ice Prince in an Old Video video making the rounds has recounted that Sarkodie actually met Beyonce during one of the BETs. That means Shatta Wale saying Sarkodie hasn’t met Beyonce before is a lie; very untrue
“We were seating down and Beyonce was coming towards us. Sarkodie was on his phone and his head was down obviously. This girl said Hi to this boy [referring to Sarkodie] and this boy no even known”.
