Cristiano Ronaldo cemented his status as the best player in the world when he scored a very bizarre penalty against Paris Saint-Germain and up till now some viewers are still struggling to find words to describe it.
Real Madrid drew level after Giovani Lo Celso was penalized for pulling back Toni Kroos inside the box. Ronaldo elected himself for the spot kick as usual and beautifully beat the PSG keeper for his 100th Champions League goal for Los Blancos.
There was nothing wrong with Ronaldo’s strike but just before he made contact, the ball appeared to rise slightly off the turf.
And social media was thrown into a state of frenzy when replays showed Ronaldo used a special technique to make the ball rise slightly into the air before he it smashed past the keeper.
Ronaldo’s former team-mate Rio Ferdinand even claiming he made the ball move on purpose and that he has been practicing it when he played for Manchester United.
Ferdinand said:
I swear to you. Crazy. He used to it in training.

Ronaldo used black magic to make the ball levitate so he could volley the penalty. Biggest winner in the history of sport.

Weird. Did something hit it?

Anyone else notice the ball move before Ronaldo hit his penalty? Weird. Not a clue what caused it.
