His comments come shortly after a few days ago it was reported that a 13-year-old girl in Uganda identified as Daphine Nakimuli took her own life after her family disgraced her for failing an examination.

The deceased was said to have left behind an emotional note describing how she was feeling unloved, describing how her siblings and parents were scolding her over her performance in the PLE results, and that she had decided to take her own life to get rid of that.

It is at the back of this that a man who is yet to be identified took to social media to plead with parents to temper justice with mercy when their wards fail examination.

According to him, most of the questions asked in examinations require obvious answers but they are made to do further calculations to prove the occurrence which to him, does not make any sense, thus parents must tolerate their wards when they perform poorly in their exams.
