Following Shatta Wale’s volatile comments about Wizkid (when he referred to the Starboy CEO as an overly-hyped artiste), there has been tension between Ghana and Nigeria, especially on social media.
Despite this, Ghanaian-based Nigerian artiste, Mr Eazi has asked Nigerians to forget about the matter and rally behind him as their own (recall Mr Eazi also incurred the wrath of Nigerians when he said emphatically that Nigerian afrobeats music was derived from Ghana)
Speaking to Hip TV, Mr Eazi explained that in the end, there is no real hate as we are all Africans.
He also allayed fears that Nigerians may not want to have anything to do with him as he narrated the story of when he went to perform in Benin and received much love. The singer also spoke in glowing terms of his relationship with Temi Otedola.
