Musical duo Dope Nation has revealed they are on the verge of hosting their own show in Takoradi.

The music duo, Michael Boafo popularly known B2, and his twin bro ther Tony Boafo popularly referred to as Twist revealed the coronavirus pandemic really messed up their plans for the city they both grew in.

In an interview with Kofi Cephas on ‘In The Neighborhood’ show, the group stated they had plans of hosting their own mega show in the Western regional capital before the government halted every musical concert in the country because of the pandemic.

They however revealed that all hope is not lost as they will make sure the people of Takoradi and the whole of Western region will have an feel of the Dope Nation journey in the Ghanaian music scene.

B2 and Twist during the coarse of the interview encouraged the various artists from the city to work hard on their own to achieve greater limits rather than relying on ‘collaborations’ with big artists to make a hit.

Twist stated as an artist, you must be able to work hard on you own for you to be recognized by other artists who through your work hard and talent, will be willing to work with you. He added collaborating with big artists will make people feel like you riding on the wings of the big artist which won’t be good for one’s career.
