Some military men have issued a cavaet to anyone who flouts the rules of President by loitering around during the lockdown period.

In a video sighted online, two military men in a car are seen warning the ‘Asafo’ boys to obey the President’s order to be indoors or risk being beaten to death.

The ”Asafo” boys at Kumasi few days ago, stated that they would not adhere to the orders given by the president concerning a partial lockdown in two regions spotted as the hotspot for the COVID-19.


The President Akufo-Addo on the 28th March, 2020, announced a partial lockdown in Accra, Tema, Kumasi and other Kasoa to control the spread of COVID-19.

However, the lockdown doesn’t apply to essential service providers.

Meanwhile,the military has warned civilians to obey the orders of the president or risk being beaten.
