A former heroin addict, Jennifer Jenson has asked the judge who sentenced her to jail to officiate her wedding. Jennifer was only 16 years old but had a strong addiction to heroin and was sent to court when she turned 21.
When she appeared in court, Judge Jude Wilton sent her to jail for one day and asked her to appear in court a week after her release. When she appeared before the judge after she was released, Jennifer was asked to go for rehab treatment after giving birth. Jennifer was 8 months pregnant and was given the opportunity to have her child so that she could later come for her final judgment.
She safely gave birth to a baby boy and 3 years later, she appeared in front of Judge Wilton after completing her rehab treatment. After the final judgment from Judge Wilton, Jennifer made a plea that Judge Wilton should come and officiate her upcoming wedding.
Judge Wilton officiated the wedding successfully and was happy Jennifer was able to turn her life around positively by overcoming her addiction for heroin.
