Ghana’s Biggest Award Ceremony, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is going down this Saturday, April 8. Artistes billed to perform at this year’s event are Sarkodie, M.anifest, EL, Nacee, Mzvee, Kofi Kinaata, Becca and many others.
The award was established by Chaterhouse in 2000 and is presented annually to reward excellence in our music industry. Ghgossip has compiled a list of past winners of Ghana Music Awards in the Artistes of the Year category-the topmost award at the event.
The Artiste of the Year is given to the artiste(s) adjudged by the Academy, Board and the genral public as having the highest audience appeal and popularity in a particular year. This year, E.L, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Mzvee and Medikal will battle for the ultimate crown.
