Students of Senior High Schools have been advised to vote massively against National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming general elections.

The Second Vice Chairman for Suame Constituency of New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Richard Asante, who gave the advice, regretted the decision by Mr. John Dramani Mahama, Flagbearer of NDC to prevent them from participating in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Asante, described it as unfortunate for the NDC to sue the Electoral Commission (EC) for registering students who have attained 18 years and above.

According to him, such a decision aims at disenfranchising the students who are constitutionally mandated to vote.

Mr. Asante described NDC as an enemy to the beneficiaries of free Senior high policy adding even NDC objected such policy.

According to him, the students have monitored such acts, therefore prepared to vote massively against Mahama on 7th December this year.

It would be recalled the NDC had filed a suit against the EC for embarking on a special registration for students who have attained the age of 18 and above.
